the right way isn’t always wrong

A barista came around and put up the blinds. I looked up at the window and saw this: a smashed bug and an interestingly bullet-sized hole … Did I pick the Bad Omen seat?
Nika, a long-haired blonde just passed by outside. But he was just…the most extraordinarily gay man. Runway walk, poised flick of the cigarette. Fantastic. My hat’s off to him.
There’s a light going berserk in a single room in one of the semi-distant office buildings. Like maybe some people are having sex up against a light switch. Or could be some really really extensive machine gunfire. Or maybe the light’s just shorted out. Could be that.
Aren’t you glad I can bring my laptop into public venues and stream my thoughts and observations to you live? Don’t worry, I won’t make a habit of it. Could be dangerous.
Damn, I wish I could have been there to see all of it. I even could have poked my pinky through the whole in the window, and then you would have to call 911 when it got stuck. That could be dangerous!
At least we are alive. (I would say young and alive, but once we are not young, that could be saddening.) (I like the blonde sighting, he sounds cool. and the light switch theory)

“Art is art. And an artist, according to Marshall, is someone on the frontiers of perception, who looks at information overload with the goal of pattern recognition, to see things before anyone else.”
